What is terroir?
As terroir has become recognized in the wine industry, so it is becoming recognized as important in the coffee industry ie terroir is the influence of topography, climate, soil, rainfall and altitude on the product. NB- Arabica coffees are significantly lower in caffeine than Robustas.

What is Terroir Part2
The region in which coffee is grown and environmental conditions have an effect on the coffee's final taste. Terroir describes how the growing conditions of a region or a specific farm affect a coffee's characteristics. it is the same term used to describe wine. it encompasses the environmental conditions that affect the final beverage's taste. These include all of : soil, annul rainfall, average temperature, amount of sunlight and altitude at which the coffee is grown.
